Working with Facilities Management Companies

Over the years, we have built strong relationships with several large regional and national facilities management companies, by providing a flexible, responsive grounds maintenance service for their sites.

One stop shop for our facilities management clients
The needs of facilities management companies vary considerably depending on the type of sites that they manage. At Nigel Jeffries Landscapes, we aim to be flexible to help fulfil the needs of each individual site – often providing a range of services in addition to our traditional grounds maintenance offering for facilities management firms.

For example, a historic site in Aldershot required window cleaning and interior communal area cleaning. Through our network of sub-contractors, we were able to offer these services in conjunction with our grounds maintenance operations. We aim to be a ‘one stop shop’ for our facilities management clients.

Over half a million pounds invested in machinery
Over the past few years we have invested over £500,000 in specialist grounds care machinery. This has enabled us to always have the ideal machine for the job at any site. As an example, for a prestigious site in Guildford we purchased a ride on high lift collection mower to efficiently cut and clear the large areas of rolling lawns. The machine has proved to be a great success and is in demand at many of our other sites.

A great team that delivers great service
Good staff retention enables us to provide a regular team to each individual site. This means that they tend to take ownership of the areas under their control and responsibility leading to higher standards of work. Residents and other stakeholders see regular faces, talk direct to our staff and build a strong relationship with them.

“Each contract is important to us. Whilst we are a ‘big enough to cope company’ we are also a ‘small enough to care’ company” says Nigel Jeffries, who founded the business over 30 years ago.
