Our Company

Background

After studying horticulture at Writtle Agricultural College, Nigel Jeffries worked on landscaping projects in the UK, Canada and Australia. Nigel Jeffries Landscapes was established in 1983 with the aim of providing a quality, skills-based landscaping service in the south of England. Although the company has expanded since those early days, our goal has not changed.

The company has full ISO 9001:2000 certification. It is a member of BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries). Considerable emphasis is given to staff training. Most of our staff have NVQs or similar qualifications and are certified members of ROLO (Registration of Land-based Operatives) - a BALI scheme which recognises that the holder has reached a required level of competence and has had accredited Health & Safety training.

Our company is a long-standing member of the Landscape Training Group of South East England.

Nigel Jeffries Landscapes Limited is also a member of Marshalls Register, and an approved installer of their excellent hard landscaping solutions (including driveways and patios which offer a 10-year guarantee). We can also install Marshalls new permeable paving which reduces the risk of flooding in heavy downpours.

Resources

We own a wide range of landscaping equipment, making us self-sufficient for the majority of tasks. We are large enough to tackle most jobs, but are also ‘small enough to care’.  We are fully insured against accidental damage whilst on clients' premises.
